Kardashian sister makes shock confession about pregnancy deception

She lived a lie because of marital problems

She’s watched her older sisters playing happy families with their respective partners and children, so you can’t blame Khloe Kardashian for wanting to try parenthood for herself.

In fact, she’s made no secret of the fact that she’s ready to become a mum.

But it turns out she wasn’t prepared to give birth to ex-husband Lamar Odom’s child – as she confessed in an emotional episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

The 32-year-old spoke candidly about how she “fake-tried” to get pregnant while she was with the NBA basketball star, explaining that marital difficulties held her back from going through with her course of fertility treatments.

She was having IVF at the time.

The couple tied the knot in 2009 after just a month of dating, but Odom’s drink and drug problems – coupled with reports that he’d cheated on Khloe – placed enormous strain on their relationship.

“I was married but I knew the circumstances weren’t the healthiest, so I just kept pretending I was doing it,” she told her doctor.

“When I was doing my fertility treatments, they were more so for Lamar. I had to stop because there was much deeper stuff that was happening in our marriage.

“I knew that it wasn’t the right situation to bring a child into, and I think I’ve done a lot of covering up for him, like even when it made me look like I was the problem.”

Khloe is now dating another basketball player, Cleveland Cavaliers star Tristan Thompson, 26. And back in April, she revealed that the loved-up pair have spoken about starting a family together.

Khloe has previously hit back at claims that she’s jealous of her older sisters Kourtney and Kim’s motherhood.

“Please. People want to assume I’m devastated, but I couldn’t be happier,” she told Redbookmagazine in a 2013 interview.

“I actually got mad at Kourtney because she was afraid to tell me at first. So I get why people think I’m hurt, because my own sister thought I would be.”
