Last month Justin Bieber and Sofia Richie couldn’t keep their hands off each other.
But just six weeks after they started dating, a source has revealed their romance is already over.
“They’re broken up for now,” a source tells PEOPLE.
A source told E! News how it was Justin who cooled things off
The source said: “It was super-hot and heavy and because Justin doesn’t want a relationship right now, he wanted to cool things down.
“It wasn’t an intentional cool-off…it just sort of happened on its own.”
Despite being together for a mere blink of an eye, the pop star’s romance with the 18-year-old daughter of Lionel Richie was not without drama.
In August the ‘Sorry’ singer slammed fans for throwing shade on his new love.
The 22-year-old pop star’s ex Selena Gomez also waded in.
The on-and-off exes got into a spat when Gomez left advice for Justin on a photo of himself he posted of himself and Richie.
“If you can’t handle the hate, then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol- It should be special between you two only,” Gomez wrote.
She added: “Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you and supported you before any one ever did.”
Bieber quickly clapped back, writing “It’s funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love.”
