She’s a constant presence on our screens, juggling hosting duties on Big Brother and The Voice, so it’s no wonder Emma Willis needs to blow off some steam.
The presenter took to Instagram to share an adorable pic of her and husband Matt Willis’ ‘date night’, enjoying Greenday’s performance as they partied at the British Summer Time Festival in Hyde Park.
The black and white photo of the smiling spouses was captioned: “Best date night in a looooooong time! Although I think @mattjwillis only had eyes for Billy-Joe…” Capping it off with a crying with laughter emoji.
The Voice Kids host and her musician husband have been hitched for nine years, a lifetime in showbiz years. Fans of the pair paid testament to their rock solid marriage in the Instagram post’s comments.
Andrea.laki1 wrote: “Absolute beautiful couple. Too many people give up nowadays when times get tough, but you two are testament to show it’s worth it and you will come out stronger and on top.”
Fan claregpal added: “Most beautiful couple inside and out I’ve ever seen! #welljel.”
Earlier this month, the mother of three revealed the key to their successful marriage in an interview with MailOnline.
Describing her simple formula, she explained: “We are just two people who still love each other very much. That’s it really.
“He’s still my absolute favourite person to be around and hang out with.”
Despite being all smiles in the cute post, viewers of The Voice Kids saw a very different side to Emma on Saturday, as she broke down in tears following an emotional performance from 11-year-old Tomas.
And it wasn’t just Emma that was moved by the performance, as her hubby’s McBusted bandmate and The Voice Kids judge Danny Jones was also overcome with emotion at the young boy’s stirring rendition of Kelly Clarkson’s Piece by Piece.
Although she may get choked up from time to time, Emma admits she loves hosting the kids edition of the popular singing show, and pleaded with show bosses to bring the popular spin off to the UK.
Speaking on This Morning, she said: They’ve done the show around the world before and it’s been a roaring success. So, I’d heard about it and had always gone ‘please can we do it?’ – and now we’re doing it!”
