Judy Murray BLASTS man who stole player’s towel gift from boy at Wimbledon

Andy Murray's mother shared a message on Twitter bad-mouthing the spectator

Judy Murray has bad-mouthed a man who stole a towel from a young boy during a tennis match.

Sports star Jack Sock, 24, had just beaten Christian Garin when he chucked his towel out into the crowds.

The youngster excitedly caught up, but an older man ripped it out of his hands.

The clip was caught on camera during the tournament, and did the rounds on Twitter.

Judy saw it, and commented on tweeted: “If you’re the bloke in the blue polo shirt and hat, you should be ashamed……”

Go, Judy!

Talking to the Press Association after it happened, the 57-year-old former tennis coach said: “I thought ‘What are you doing?’. I hope that somebody recognises him and comes forward with his name and that Jack Sock can give him a towel.”

Jack, who is ranked number 18, tweeted: “If anyone knows the kid that unfortunately had the towel ripped out of his hands…tweet his name at me and I’ll be sure to get him one”.

The American pro also retweeted a clip shared by Twitter user Mark Schultz, who wrote: “Jerk old man stealing a thrown towel of Jack Sock’s from a kid.”

Judy added: “You want the whole thing to be a wonderful experience and you don’t want anybody to be going home disappointed so I think it was a lovely gesture of him (Jack Sock) and I hope he manages to find the guy.”

Luckily Judy made sure she had a whale of a time.

The author posted a hilarious photo of former Strictly Come Dancing partner Anton Du Beke and herself.
