Joy-Anna Duggar and her husband Austin Forsyth have updated fans on how their new baby son is doing since his birth on Feb. 23.
The couple announced his arrival earlier this week and revealed his adorable name - Gideon Martyn Forsyth.
In a new TLC video, Joy-Anna and Austin have explained why they chose the name Gideon.
"We chose 'Gideon' because it's a strong biblical name," Austin said. "The character in the Bible was someone who was willing to follow the Lord, and he was a strong leader."
Explaining Gideon's middle name, Austin added: "Martyn is my middle name and and it was my granddad's middle name.
"We just thought our first born child should have my middle name."
The couple - who tied the knot last year - gushed about being new parents.
The character in the Bible was someone who was willing to follow the Lord.
"I think being first-time parents is really indescribable," Joy said. "Everybody who has a baby goes through this feeling of being proud and so thankful to have a little one."
The Counting On star said having a child is a "big responsibility" but it's "amazing" and humbling.
The new mom revealed Gideon's first few days "have been good."
She told the camera that Gideon has a very healthy appetite and likes to keep her and Austin up at night.
They finished the video by thanking fans for their "support and encouragement" during "this time in our lives."
Announcing their son's arrival this week, the couple wrote on Instagram: "We are so blessed by the arrival of our son, Gideon Martyn Forsyth!
"He was born on 02/23/18 @ 3:39pm, weighing 10lbs. 3oz. and was 22 inches long!"
