Iain Stirling officiated!

| Updated:

Presenter Joel Dommett has tied the knot with his fiancée Hannah Cooper on the Greek Island of Mykonos.

The couple, who got engaged nearly two years ago in 2017, were wed in a beachside ceremony officiated by Joel’s pal Ian Stirling, narrator of reality show Love Island.

Joel, 33, took to Instagram to share snaps of their wedding with fans.

The first shows Joel, dressed in a navy blue suit, and Hannah in her strapless gown walking through a cloud of confetti.

He captioned it: “BEST DAY EVER. Love you @hannah_cooper_.”

In another, the happy couple can be seen looking super serious as they exchange rings, Iain standing behind them as he oversees the nuptials.

Joel wrote in the caption: “A huge thank you to @iaindoesjokes for officiating the ceremony.

“You made it perfect… and a little like I was on Love Island.”

Model Hannah posted about the ceremony over on her own Instagram, thanking comedian Iain and her husband.

She said: “Thank you for being the most perfect combination of funny, serious and compassionate… to both @joeldommett and @iaindoesjokes that is. (possibly the only photo of me not crying my eyes out).”

Last year, the I’m A Celeb: Extra Camp presenter revealed on ITV’s Lorraine that he and Hannah were planning to marry in 2019.

He told host Lorraine Kelly: “It’s happening next year. We’re doing a little bit of planning at the moment, we think we’re going to be doing it in Mykonos.

“We’re telling everyone it’s really horrible so the prices come down.”

Speaking further, the funnyman insisted they wanted to keep their wedding intimate by inviting only family and close friends.

He said: “We’re going to have like 30 people… or 31, if you fancy it, Lorraine.”

Joel is currently hosting dating show Singletown alongside Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack.

The programme got underway earlier this month but after the first episode aired, viewers were divided over the show’s format – with some blasting it for its similarities to Love Island.
