Jeremy McConnell could end up in prison over his community service, reports say

He was charged with assaulting his ex

Reality TV star Jeremy McConnell is currently doing community service for assaulting his ex-girlfriend Stephanie Davis.

He was spared jail, but the latest reports suggest he’s at risk of going behind bars.

As part of his community service he was asked to remove some graffiti, but he reportedly refused to do it. Going against the terms of his sentence means he could end up in prison.

He apparently told his probation officers that he believed the graffiti was done by a famous street artist.

A source told The Sun: “He has refused to scrub graffiti because he believes the artwork is a Banksy – and he’s told officials.

“A decision is yet to be made about Jeremy and how he will continue his community service going forward.

“He could end up in real trouble over it.”

Last month he was sentenced to 20 weeks, suspended for 12 months, and 200 hours’ community service.

During the recent trial, the judge was shown photos of a bruise that Stephanie said was caused by Jeremy biting her arm, as well as extensive bruises to her legs and body.

The defendant called her a “fat [expletive]” during the domestic abuse, the court heard.

The pair, who began a relationship after appearing on Celebrity Big Brother, argued during the hearing at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court as Steph told how Jeremy had “completely destroyed” her life.

Judge Wendy Lloyd ordered a break in proceedings when Jeremy began laughing in the dock after Steph broke down in tears.

The former Hollyoaks actress said: “He’s completely destroyed my life, it’s been the worst 18 months of my life.”

She told the court the couple had been out for a meal in Liverpool with friends to celebrate her birthday on the evening of March 9 and returned to her home, but McConnell then went out to a local pub with two of the friends.

She said when he returned to the house at about midnight he was “out of it” and had been taking cocaine.

The couple’s friends left and she said McConnell grabbed her by the face.

She said: “He was calling me a [expletive]. He said that I was fat, he said that no one was going to want to touch me again.”

Reports have now surfaced that she is planning to sell her home in Liverpool and officially move on from her ex.

A source told The Sun Online: “Steph can’t face going back to that house and has moved in with her parents.

“The house is where all of her domestic abuse happened and she can’t face to go back there.”

The pair have a child together, eight-month-old Caben-Albi George.
