There was some Christmas cheer on The Jeremy Kyle Show as a father and daughter were reunited after 44 years apart.
Helen had contacted the usually fiery ITV show to see if Jeremy Kyle and his team could help her.
She wanted to get in touch with her father, who she had never known.
With a break from the usual arguments over DNA tests and ex-boyfriends, Jeremy duly obliged and brought her long lost father on stage.

There were tears all round as the pair embraced tightly after meeting each other for the first time.
Holding hands, the pair could barely speak as the occasion got the better of them.
The dad said that he was “young and dumb” when Helen was born.
He explained why it had taken so long to reunite with his daughter: “I wouldn’t know where to start.
“This is absolutely fantastic, the whole team’s been fantastic doing this.”

After the dad had declared his daughter was “lovely”, Jeremy informed the pair that the show was going to pay for them to have Christmas together.
The emotional scenes have continued as well, as the show tweeted afterwards: “Helen was delighted to be reunited with her dad on the show.
“She hopes in time they will be able to form a closer bond.”
Who would’ve thought that it would be Jeremy Kyle that would bring us such a winning Christmas tale.
