TV and Heart radio presenter Jenni Falconer has taken to Instagram to thank the NHS after her daughter Ella was involved in an accident.
Jenni posted a shot of six-year-old Ella’s leg bound up in a cast while she lay in a hospital bed on Tuesday.

The photo was accompanied by a heartfelt caption, thanking the NHS for helping Ella after her “terrible” accident.
Jenni wrote: “Today was eventful. My gorgeous little girl was involved in a terrible accident where she came off the worst.
“Broken leg and admitted to hospital for observation. I can hand on heart say that the call to tell you that something has happened to your child is one of the worst calls you could ever receive.”
Jenni continued: “Thankfully the wonderful @nhsenglandldn have been truly amazing, cared for her brilliantly and are making sure she has everything she needs to get better.
“In our ward there are so many poorly children, far worse than Ella, it makes your heart ache seeing their parents just willing their babies to get better. If only we could start today again…. .”
Jenni did not elaborate on the accident that left her daughter with a broken leg, but later returned to Instagram to thank fans for their support.
“Thank you so much for your get well messages,” she said. “@jpmidge and I are completely overwhelmed by your kind words and best wishes for our little girl.
“We just want her to be back flossing and doing relentless cartwheels as soon as possible. X.”

Jenni, along with husband James Midgley, and Ella have just returned from a family holiday in Greece.
