Jeff Brazier says he’d “love to have a daughter” with fiancée Kate Dwyer

He's marrying abroad this summer

Jeff Brazier has said he can’t wait to have children with his fiancée Kate Dwyer – and would love to welcome a daughter.

The reality star-turned-life coach is father to sons Bobby, 14, and Freddie, 13, from his relationship with late Big Brother star Jade Goody.

He’s getting married this summer to PR guru Kate so, naturally, when he was on Loose Women on Thursday, the panel asked whether he and Kate had plans to expand the family.

Jeff said: “We will. That’s a definite. As to when, I suppose Kate is the boss on that one!

“I would love to experience having a daughter, actually. I would! I’ve heard it’s a different experience. I’ve always been a father of boys and I’d like to experience [having a daughter].”

Jeff, 38, praised Kate for her relationship with his sons, saying she’d been brilliant taking on the role of stepmum.

“Kate’s an incredible woman,” he said.

“She has a really wonderful relationship with both [boys] but different. With Freddie, he’s just hell-bent on having a stepmum. It really, really matters to him.

“It’s a massive responsibility for Kate but she’s been around us for over four years now.

“She’s perfect in that role.”

Jeff confirmed that Bobby and Freddie are still on track to be his best men at the ceremony – although he has no idea what they’ll say in their speech!

“The thought of them giving a speech just makes me absolutely crumble,” he said.

“They’ll tell the truth! It will be beautiful. A lot of the time, as parents, we wonder what kids really think and we don’t really get the benefit of that until maybe an occasion like this.

“They’ll pull something out of the bag. It won’t be all deep and meaningful. I’m sure they’ll chuck a load at me!

“But those words will mean something.”

Jeff was on Loose Women as part of a new campaign to encourage people to have health worries checked out, rather than trying to avoid them for fear of what doctors may discover.

It’s a personal campaign to him as former girlfriend Jade died of cervical cancer after ignoring a letter telling her to visit a doctor and be checked.
