Jeff Brazier reveals fiancée Kate Dwyer’s cheeky Full Monty request

But Kate had a comeback for him!

Jeff Brazier has joked fiancée Kate Dwyer really, really likes his uniform from The Real Full Monty: Live!

The television presenter joined a group of other celebrities in stripping off for the ITV special last month, which raised awareness of men’s cancers.

Jeff and the guys all started their routine dressed as security guards, before whipping EVERYTHING off.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Jeff, 38, shared a photo of himself in uniform alongside Kate, joking: “If I had a pound for every time Kate has demanded I wear the security guard outfit I’d be doing alright…”

But Kate quickly hit back: “Still haven’t though, have ya!”

The Real Full Monty: Live was a massive success when it aired on ITV at the end of March.

For Jeff, it was particularly important to be involved as his sons lost their mother, Jade Goody, to cancer in 2009.

Jeff has raised Bobby, 14 and Freddie, 13, as a single dad after his ex-girlfriend Jade died from cervical cancer nine years ago.

“I’m here because my children lost their mum nine years ago and it was potentially avoidable if their mum had checked herself,” he said on the programme. “Raising kids for the last nine years without their mum has been incredibly difficult. The reason for me being here is literally life or death.”

The men’s routine was choreographed by Dancing On Ice judge Ashley Banjo, who co-hosted the event with Pointless presenter Alexander Armstrong.

Jeff said afterwards his two sons were proud of him for raising awareness of the importance of identifying cancer symptoms early and seeking help.

“Tonight was emotional. A mixture of pride, nerves, exhilaration and realisation all felt in such a short space of time. Enough time though to convey an incredibly important and powerful message,” he said.

“Ultimately I don’t want any more children to grow up without a parent on account of potentially treatable illnesses. Everyone had such powerful stories of their own.

“I’m grateful that my son put it into perspective for me by texting me probably about ten minutes before we performed, telling me he was really proud of me and I was a ledge for doing it.

“And he said I should tell Ashley that in a few years’ time, when he’s old enough, he will want to help carry on his mum’s legacy.

“It just absolutely floored me emotionally and turned the performance from performing a routine into something far greater and bigger than something I ever really imagined it would be.

“I’m grateful for being part of a production that carried a very serious message and I think it seemed to carry far and wide, so surely there will be a life or two that has been saved and that will just be the most incredible feeling of satisfaction.”

Jeff found fame on Channel 4 reality show Shipwrecked before going on to train as a bereavement counsellor.

He will marry fiancée Kate later this year, after proposing during a romantic holiday in Ibiza last year.

They’ve been together for nearly five years, after meeting in 2013 when Jeff was filming for ITV in the Maldives and Kate was working on PR for the hotel where he stayed.
