If anyone deserves a bit of happiness in their life, it’s Jeff Brazier – and it sounds like the TV presenter, 38, has finally found some.
In a new interview, the dad-of-two speaks candidly about his “lovely” relationship with girlfriend Kate Dwyer.
And he says he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of popping the question before the year is out, and even adding to the family in the near future…
Jeff’s life has been blighted by tragedy. His father, Stephen Faldo, was captain of pleasure boat the Marchioness, which sank in 1989, killing all 51 people on board – including Jeff’s dad.
And in 2009, his former partner and the mother of his two children, Jade Goody, lost her battle against cervical cancer.
But since meeting PR girl Kate in 2014, things have really looked up for the Essex-born star.
The couple live together with Jeff’s boys – Bobby, 14, and Freddie, 12 – but have yet to tie the knot. However, speaking to the Mirror Online, Jeff revealed that the big day might not be too far off.

When asked if he would propose before the end of the year, he teased: “Quite possibly.”
And it sounds like the couple don’t plan to stop there – they have every intention of adding to their brood at some point.
“We’ve discussed it – it’s going to happen,” admitted Jeff. “I think we’re working our way to it.
“What’s going to be exciting to me is seeing the kids as older brothers – they’ll be incredible. And it’ll teach them about other responsibilities for them.
“It’ll be fantastic for me, too. I’ll get to experience parenting within a relationship and actually be married, because I haven’t experienced that – not even as a child.”
Jeff, whose presenting credits include The X Factor, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and This Morning, once said that he would’ve been rich if he’d allowed his sons to be photographed for gossip magazines.
To his credit, he chose not to – he’s brought Bobby and Freddie up with dignity and respect.

And his life is now benefiting from a different kind of richness, with marriage and more kids almost certainly on the way.
He concluded: “I’m in a really lovely relationship with a really lovely person who gets on well with my children, and we’ve really worked hard for it.
“I think we’re going to start getting all the rewards that we deserve.”
