Jeff Brazier admits wife Kate Dwyer has ‘had a change of heart’ about kids

She has a busy career

Jeff Brazier has admitted that wife Kate Dwyer has ‘had a change of heart’ when it comes to having children.

Jeff, 40, and Kate, 29, married last year, but now Jade Goody’s ex – the father of her two children – has opened up about married life and why having kids with Kate has been put on the back burner.

Reality star Jeff recently admitted he and Kate were having some marriage problems a year after tying the knot.

After fans spotted the pair had unfollowed each other on Instagram, Jeff’s rep revealed the couple were having “some difficulties” and were “doing their utmost to work through them together”.

I had thought when we got married we’d go straight in [to start a family] but there seems to have been a change of heart about that.

But last week Jeff appeared to be wearing his wedding ring again after taking it off amid the reports of marriage “difficulties”.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Jeff opened up about his relationship with Kate.

“Life doesn’t feel much different because Kate has a wonderful career in PR where she works very hard and long hours, so it’s still just me and the boys at home a fair bit,” he said.

“I’m not sure whether we’ll have children,” he admitted. “I had thought when we got married we’d go straight in [to start a family] but there seems to have been a change of heart about that, and a need for a little more time before those decisions are made.

“I’m just as happy if we do or don’t, and I’m content to be patient and let Kate figure all that out.”

Last month, Jeff told his followers on Instagram he has learnt from “a ton of mistakes” while working on easing himself back into the world of football via radio station talkSport.

Sharing a couple of snaps on the social media site, including one of him behind the mic, he said: “Those of you that know me or have watched me reintroduce myself back into football over the last two seasons will know that I’ve travelled a lot of miles, learnt from a ton of mistakes and dedicated a lot of time to at least appear like I know what I’m talking about.”

Jeff continued in the caption: “Today was my fifth appearance on @talksport but my first time hosting and I’m grateful for the opportunity and proud of the progress.”
