Jason Manford marries long-term partner and celebrates with a CURRY!

But a weekend of partying has taken its toll...

Comedian Jason Manford has married his long-term girlfriend Lucy Dyke in a Christmassy ceremony with family and friends.

The pair said “I do” in front of their loved ones in a ceremony in Manchester on Saturday – and then chipped off to a local curry house for their reception.

Jason looked super happy as he beamed at photographers outside the restaurant, arriving in a navy suit with a red rose buttonhole, which matched Lucy’s entirely red rose bouquet.

And Lucy seemed to have bucked the trend of a white wedding dress – and opted for a jumpsuit instead.

Lucy’s white jumpsuit had a halterneck top and wide legged bottoms which she teamed with nude heels.

The bride wore a fascinator which had a white lace veil at the front and kept her shoulders warm with a faux fur stole.

The pair have been dating for a while and welcomed their first child – a little girl – in 2015.

Funny man Jason has four other children from his previous marriage to his ex-wife Catherine.

He’s previously admitted that he and Lucy are close to his ex Catherine, describing the whole family set up as “very modern” which he says is ideal for his comedy material.

But despite just getting hitched it appeared that normal Christmas service had resumed immediately with Jason tweeting a picture of himself in Peppa Pig pyjamas on Christmas Day.

He aso shared a sweet snap of a handmade comedy book that his daughter had made for him, describing it as his best gift ever.

But a Twitter post late on Christmas Day suggested that perhaps the wedding and the festivities had taken their toll on the whole family.

Whilst the rest of the country polished off port and cheese, Jason shared a picture of a jug of hot honey and lemon and a caption describing an early night for the whole family.
