If there’s one thing you can guarantee when Stacey Solomon is around, it’s good entertainment. And the Dagenham-born reality star, 27, was on top form when she appeared on this morning’s Loose Women.
The panel – Stacey, Andrea McLean, Coleen Nolan and Janet Street-Porter – were discussing how Harper Beckham had celebrated her sixth birthday at a tea party held at Buckingham Palace.
At that point, Stacey leapt to the defence of the Beckham family, coming out with a comment that made the other women giggle nervously.
The former X Factor contestant said that she herself would love nothing more than to visit Buckingham Palace and see the Crown Jewels.
Of course, the Crown Jewels are actually held at the Tower of London – and have been for hundreds of years.

And Stacey’s fellow panellists weren’t going to let her get away with that little faux pas.
“Do you have O Level History, or even Geography?” scoffed Janet Street-Porter.
Embarrassed Stacey persisted, explaining that the Crown Jewels were kept in Buckingham Palace, as that’s where the Queen lives. But JSP quickly put her straight.
“That’s where she keeps her tiaras and everyday jewels,” said the Londoner, 70. “The actual Crown Jewels are in the Tower of London!”

Trying to save face, Stacey queried why Her Majesty would want to leave them in another place.
“She’s not going to leave them when the Beckhams are around!” quipped Janet.
Poor old Stacey.
As for David and Victoria Beckham, they and the royals were criticised for hosting a party especially for Harper at the Queen’s residence.
Until the former Manchester United star explained on Instagram that the Beckhams were merely guests at the tea party, and other people had also been invited.
