Janet Street-Porter accidentally let slip a swear word on Loose Women while discussing her love of a good party.
The 71-year-old was giving her thoughts on the show’s Tuesday debate about ageing, sparked by Kylie Minogue’s recent 50th birthday celebrations.
Janet had been telling the panel how she doesn’t mind getting older, as she’s always had a good time no matter what age she is.
However, she accidentally blundered when it came to her description of her boozy 70th, telling the women: “I remember going fishing during the day and then having a [bleep]-up in the evening.”

(In case you couldn’t work out her rude word, just team the word ‘p’ with the sound ‘iss’ and there you have it…)
Janet immediately realised her error and quickly said: “I’m very sorry. I apologise right now. That was a bad word. I didn’t mean to say it and I truly apologise as I’ll get told off later.”
The other Loose Women, however, assured Janet they “still loved her”.
Plenty of viewers admitted they were chuckling at Janet’s error and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
Meanwhile, Janet had been saying: “I don’t fear anything about ageing at all. I’ve had great parties when I was 50, 60 and 70. The actual day itself doesn’t really make much difference.
“When I was 70 I was going to be out of the country so I had party in the summer in Scotland.
“I remember going fishing during the day and then having a [bleep]-up. Er, party in the evening. I like a good party.”
Janet went on to say Johnny Rotten came to her 50th birthday and guests were queuing up to “be insulted by him”, while Daniel Craig was a guest at her 60th. Random!
“My friend had Daniel Craig staying with him as they were old friends. I didn’t tell anyone Daniel Craig was a late invitee,” added Janet.
