Jana Duggar continues to hold the hearts of Counting On fans as the Duggar daughter they are rooting for the most to find love and happiness. After years of speculation, she has finally come clean about why she’s not in a relationship.
A source close to the reality star told Radar Online, Jana revealed that she hasn’t been in a serious relationship yet because “she’s picky!”
“She's hardly ever home," the source said to the website.
"She lives at home, but she has a job. She's not stressed about getting married,” they continued.
Her job likely includes taking care of her younger siblings as Duggar daughters are not encouraged to get paid jobs outside of the home unless it is volunteer work.
Most recently, Jana was linked to two eligible bachelors.
Waiting is hard. I’m still waiting. Waiting is not always easy.
Fans were thrilled when they learned that Jana might be courting Caleb Williams, a longtime family friend with whom she was recently photographed alongside other family members.
Duggar girls cannot be alone with a young man they are interested in; they must always have a chaperone.

Caleb debunked that rumor when he posted a status update clarifying that he and Jana are just friends.
Shortly thereafter, a young man named Jacob Wilson was pictured eating with the family at a local restaurant.
Jacob also took to his official Facebook and dismissed the rumors surrounding his involvement with Jana.
Jana has revealed during an episode of Counting On that, it is hard to be the solo single older sister in the Duggar family.
Younger sisters Jessa, Jill, Jinger, and Joy-Anna have all married. Three of the four sisters have begun their own families.
Said Jana on the series, “I know how it feels to wait for ‘Prince Charming’ to come along. I’m still waiting. Waiting is not always easy.”
“Especially when all the married siblings are getting together and you can’t go along because you’re not part of ‘that’ group,” she tearfully explained.
Fans keep hoping Jana finds her one and only sooner than later.
Counting On airs on TLC.
