Jools’s birthday comes a day after sadness in the chef world.

Jamie was one of the TV chefs who left a touching message in the wake of the news that Gary Rhodes had passed away in Dubai because of a bleed on the brain, aged 59.

Jamie posted: “Sadly Chef Gary Rhodes OBE passed away after a tragic fall. My heart felt sympathies to his wife, kids, friends and family, sending love and thought…”

He subsequently deleted ‘after a tragic fall’.
