Following the devastating death of Jamal Edwards, one of his old tweets has resurfaced and left many fans heartbroken.
Jamal, who founded SBTV and helped launch the careers of Ed Sheeran and Jessie J, died from a sudden illness aged 31, his mum Brenda Edwards confirmed.
One of his tweets, which was posted in 2012, has been resurfaced as stars and fans paid tribute to him on social media.

The decade-old tweet from Jamal read: “We all die. The goal isn’t to live forever, the goal is to create something that will.”

Rapper Ghetts shared the message on Sunday and wrote: “Mission accomplished brother fly high. Thank you.”
Many fans also shared the tweet alongside tributes.

One person said: “RIP Jamal (legend) what you did for music utterly amazing and inspiring, your legacy will forever live on.”
Another wrote: “You did just that, Jamal! You and your legacy will never be forgotten,” followed by a heartbroken emoji.
A third added: “And you can rest easy knowing you’ve accomplished just that RIP jamal,” with heartbroken emojis.
It comes after Loose Women star Brenda shared a heartbreaking statement following Jamal’s death.

She said: “It is with the deepest heartache that I confirm that my beautiful son Jamal Edwards passed away yesterday morning after a sudden illness.
“Myself, his sister Tanish and the rest of his family and friends are completely devastated. He was the centre of our world.”
Brenda then asked for privacy as she and her family “come to terms with his passing”.
She concluded the statement: “Jamal was an inspiration to myself and so many.
“Our love for him lives on, his legacy lives on. Long live Jamal Edwards MBE, MBA, PHD.”

Many of Brenda’s Loose Women co-stars have spoken out. Denise Welch said: “My heart aches for my friend Brenda. I can’t bear it. Jamal Edwards was a wonderful son and brother.”
Charlene White added: “Your light shone so brightly that it touched so many of us, impacted the lives of many more, and changed the game forever. And, you are my Brenda’s son..”
