Yes, Holly Willoughby went out for lunch with controversial presenter Piers Morgan.

But many fans were left wondering what the reason for the surprising lunch date was.

Could Holly possibly be appearing on the presenter’s show, Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, to talk about her personal life and career?

The mum-of-three shared a snap to her Instagram of herself and Piers as she wrote: “Lovely afternoon with @piersmorgan. Thank you for a wonderful lunch xxx.”

Fans were unimpressed that the pair were together as one wrote: “Holly you’re amazing, but what are you thinking?”

Another said: “How could you after all he said about mental health – I thought more of you @hollywilloughby.”

A third ranted: “Shame on you for lunching with that scum!”

Piers, 52, is currently adding celebs to his list to appear on the talk show, which he first started hosting back in 2009.

And Holly could be the next famous face to open about her life.

Meanwhile Holly, 36, left fans concerned she was losing weight after her latest Instagram snaps.

The star is always wowing us with her gorgeous figure on social media but some of her fans were quick to point out her slimmer physique.

One wrote: “Holly not that you needed to but looks although you are losing weight.”

“You don’t look well, eat some food,” another bluntly said.

But the blonde beauty revealed she would never speak about her diet and fitness regime.

Holly told Prima Magazine: “I don’t want to encourage eating disorders. I try not to focus too much on my appearance.

“As long as I’m being healthy, that’s good enough for me. I’m quite active and I try not to let the way I look be the main focus because it’s not the important thing.”

“I actually avoid talking about my diet and exercise regime because I have interviewed so many people affected by eating disorders and I know that some people in chat rooms can really fixate on other people’s diets.

“I just can’t contribute to that,” she added.
