On Wednesday’s episode of This Morning Rylan Clarke-Neal confirmed that someone from the chat show will be starring in The Island with Bear Grylls.
Last year’s series saw celebrities such as Lydia Bright and Ollie Locke take up the challenge by testing out their survival skills on a remote uninhabited Pacific island.

While some thought that it could potentially be Alison Hammond or Gino D’Acampo, some were convinced Phillip was definitely heading to The Island.
Rumoured contestants so far include Lucy Meklenburgh, Corrie actor Ryan Thomas, and Breaking Bad actor RJ Mitte. We think Phil would fit in pretty nicely with this bunch.
So after Rylan admitted that he had no idea who the mystery contestant was, a very excited Holly said that she did!
She whispered to Rylan behind her cue cards, but it was still unclear to us viewers.
One Twitter user, however, seemed to think that Phil was acting “very sheepish” when they were discussing the potential contestants.
Another said: “Phil definitely 😂😂😂😂”.
A third added: “@Schofe acting strange when they mention it”.
The TV host himself did nothing to play down the rumours when he tucked into a number of insect dishes made by Fearless Chef Kiran Jethwa on the show.
He ate everything on offer, so let’s face it – he would be pretty good on The Island!
Another Twitter user said: “@Schofe Biggest hint yet… either Im a celeb of Bear Gryls #island…come on Phil.. [sic]”.
Others called for him to go on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
