Lisa Faulkner hints at possible return to EastEnders as Fi Browning

The door's been left open...

When Fi Browning left her evil dad James Willmott-Brown dying in hospital, we thought we’d seen the last of her.

She’d given Max Branning all the deeds to the properties in the Square that Weyland and Co had grabbed, and order was (almost) restored.

But on today’s Loose Women, actor Lisa Faulkner, who played the troubled property developer, gave a clue that made us wonder if Fi could be heading back to Albert Square sooner than we think.

She pointed out that the door has been left open for Fi and when the Loose Women asked if she would go back, she seemed keen.

“If they wanted me back I could go back,” she said.

And she added that loved her time on the show.

“I hadn’t acted in a really long time and EastEnders came out of nowhere,” she said. “But after about 10 minutes of being on set I rang my best mate and said: ‘I love it'”

She also gushed about how much she’d enjoyed being on a soap.

“I did Brookside, years ago,” she told the presenters. “But then I always wanted to do lots of different roles in my career, rather than just playing one role.

“But now, having done EastEnders I understand why people do it. People are snobby about soaps but the actors work so hard. It’s a great thing to work in.”

Sounds like someone’s hoping to be asked back! And we’d love to see Fi back in Albert Square to cause some more trouble. Let’s hope those EastEnders bosses were watching Loose Women today!
