I’m A Celeb’s Georgia Toffolo ‘dating’ ex-Nigel Farage aide

A pal said Toff's new man is "quite a character"

Reality star Georgia Toffolo is reportedly dating former Nigel Farage aide George Cottrell.

The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here winner, 25, is said to be going out with the millionaire banker, who is the nephew of former Conservative minister and now UKIP politician Lord Hesketh.

Speaking to MailOnline, a friend of the jungle queen said her new man is “quite a character” and a “charmer” with a “real way with words”.

They told the publication: “His relationship with Georgia is well known to their friends and families, it’s not something they are trying to hide.

“They are out in public a lot, doing normal things that couples do, like going shopping or going for dinner.

“I’m surprised nobody has realised until now who George is but I’m sure Georgia knows about his background. He’s got quite a chequered history, having spent time in prison and is very high profile, given his connections to Farage.”

The source went on to call George, who has a £2.5 million apartment in West London, a “typical upper class rogue”.

In 2016, he was arrested at O’Hare Airport in Chicago for participating in illegal activity relating to money laundering.

He pleaded guilty and served nine months in prison, having reportedly agreed a plea deal to reduce his 20-year sentence.

In an interview with The Telegraph in 2017, George said of his time behind bars: “Prison life was fascinating and had I not been to boarding school it would have been infinitely harder.

“I was housed in maximum-security facilities in Chicago and Arizona. I was placed with murderers, rapists, paedophiles, assassins, Isil terrorists, cartel kingpins and even a Mafia boss. I had to fight for my life on an almost daily basis. I still have fractured ribs today.”

Georgia Toffolo rose to fame as a regular on reality show Made in Chelsea, which she joined in 2014.

She was a firm favourite on I’m A Celebrity in 2017 and grew close to retired politician Stanley Johnson, father of Conservative MP Boris Johnson.
