Hunky singer pledges to save Jahmene from his suicidal thoughts

Lets hope he can help the troubled singer - as long as he doesn't belt out his notorious hit!

Peter Andre says he’s helping Jahmene Douglas to battle against his depression and anxiety attacks.

The X Factor star sparked serious concerns recently when he posted some very emotional messages on Twitter implying he may be having suicidal feelings.

The singer has spoken in the past about his long bouts of depression.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Daily’s Andy West, he said he still fights some very dark thoughts.

Now Peter says he’s talking to the 26-year-old in private on social media in an attempt to lift his spirits.

The 44-year-old sweetheart has even invited Jahmene to stay with him at his tranquil country mansion in West Sussex following the X Factor star’s worrying suicidal posts last month.

Pete said: “We’ve been messaging each other privately on Twitter.

“I told him to come and see me, and I hope he does.”

Jahmene wrote: “I don’t know what to do anymore. My mind is plagued with suicidal thoughts whenever my defences are down.

“I feel so broken, lost and worthless. It doesn’t seem to matter how much I try to fix myself, who I talk to or what I put in place, I always come back to this.”

Revealing just how bad things had become, he said: “I don’t know how much longer I can hold on for. I’m ready to die.”

Pete recently spoke openly about his own severe panic attacks, saying he suffered as many as 20 a day.

It seems his symptoms may have started when he suffered a racist attack in the 1990s.

He added to New magazine: “I’m off the medication now and have been for a while, which is great because the anxiety I suffered was one of the worst cases.”

Jahmene’s tweets raised his fan’s concerns and other stars made contact to offer their support.

James Arthur, 29, has spoken to his old X Factor buddy. He begged the singer to call him, writing on Twitter: “Brother I’m here for you. Answer your phone. I know what you’re going through. Pick up.”
