Huge comeback planned for Boy George revealed on This Morning

This will be his first first record deal since 1995

The one and only Boy George has revealed that he is about to sign his first record deal in 22 years.

Yes, he’s back, people!

The 56-year-old appeared on This Morning to talk to summer hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford about The Voice Australia, and spilled the beans.

Talking about the first record deal he’s had after 22 years, the Karma Chameleon singer said: “I’m about to sign with BMG which is the most bonkers thing. I never thought I’d sign a deal again, I haven’t had one since 1995.

“When this was presented to me I thought it’s bonkers I have to do it.”

The singer is also back touring with his band Culture Club, and will be touring in Australia later this year.

Plus, he’s also already working on new music!

Admitting that he loves The Voice, he told the hosts that he loves the fact that he didn’t know the other coaches on the UK version.

Of course, this meant that there would probably be a bit of tension and a few heated conversations.

“I loved [The Voice],” he said. “You go in there, don’t know who the other coaches will be, and you never know who you’re going to clash with.

“During the blind battle rounds things get difficult and you fall in love. [On the UK version] Me and Paloma, we had a lot of fights but now we’re great!”

The sassy star also revealed that when in Oz, he clashed with Seal because he likes to be controversial.

“They haven’t brought you in to sit there and say nothing,” he said.
