We’re surprised Honey G hasn’t attacked a Salt’n’Pepa track yet – particularly as we have just discovered that she loves wrapping her lips around a spicy rap number.
Their biggest hit Let’s Talk About Sex Baby seems entirely appropriate, when you hear about The X Factor favourite’s raunchy beats from 2013.

Yes, there’s the next shock – Honey, it seems, was recording rap choons way back then, which suggests that she is not at all, as many people believe, a fake contestant on the talent show.
Unless it’s a huge ruse spanning back years. And, frankly, who really has the time or inclination for that?
Three years ago, the former recruitment consultant threw down a track called Hush Your Mouth on music-sharing platform Soundcloud, before the ITV show was so much as a twinkle on her horizon. (It’s already been deleted since being unearthed in the past 24 hours – sorry!)
On her Soundcloud profile, the 37-year-old boasts: “They all know I am legendary in the sack.
“With all the s*** you have coming out of your mouth, I’m surprised you’ve got any friends left.”
Honey goes on to reveal she has been dropping her unique vocals for years. “My name is Honey G. I started mixing in 1999.
“After mixing for only four months, I made my first appearance at Club Abbyss in Ayia Napa and gained a residency at Gas club in the summer of 2000.
“I also played at Insomnia which was filmed for Channel 4.
“In the early 2000s I toured across the whole of the UK playing at various clubs in Manchester, Blackpool with EZ, Nottingham with Ms Dynamite.” (Ee-Eeee.)
