Home and Away actress can STILL fit into her Summer Bay High uniform 17 years on

The actress hasn't changed a day since her stint on the soap

Most of us can only dream of fitting into an outfit we wore 17 years ago.

But former Home and Away actress Christie Hayes has posted a picture of her wearing her Summer Bay High uniform from well over a decade ago.

Christie played Kirsty Sutherland between 2000 and 2005 and again between 2008 and 2009.

She joined as a schoolgirl and was often seen hanging around town in her uniform. But the fact she can still get into it so many years later is pretty incredible.

Alongside the image of herself with former rugby football player Wendall Sailor, she said they’d acted out a Home and Away scene together, and then wrote:

“Appreciating this dress still fits after so many years, two kids, and the massive apple pie and ice cream I ate last night”.

Fans were quick to comment, with one saying: “This photo is amazing! You look so good and haven’t aged! This is brilliant!”

“You have not aged a day!!!” added another.

A third said: “You look exactly the same as back then”

The picture was taken at the i98 fm studios where Christie hosts the breakfast show alongside Ryan Cram and Marty Hynes.

Christie went back to work earlier this year after having her two little boys, Hendrix Walter White, born in October 2014 and Harley White, born September 2015.

She often posts pics of her two cuties to Instagram.

It seems Christie is settled into her new work and home life, which will disappoint some fans who are desperate for her to return to Home and Away.

Many commented on her school uniform pic that that was what they wanted to see: “Great pic and a definite reminder why we need Kirsty back in the Bay,” said one.

Another added: “Come back to the Bay some day!”

Among Kirsty’s biggest storylines was her relationship with Kane Phillips. The pair were very much in love despite the fact he had sexually assaulted her sister.

The couple married and had a baby before going on the run together. They returned three years later and Kane went to prison after blowing up the prom.

Kirsty then got together with Miles Copeland, but fled the Bay once again after suffering a miscarriage and leaving Miles devastated.
