Jennifer Metcalfe gave birth to her baby boy with partner Greg Lake on a scorcher of a day last month.
She’s barely been active on social media since, but has now posted a snap of her and Greg enjoying a date.
Although there’s no sign of their little one, who’s probably being kept under wraps until it’s time for his big reveal, the pair looked happy and relaxed as they enjoyed a meal together.
She captioned the image: “Gorg meal @thealchemistuk with my ❤️ @greglake excellent menu, drinks and service! Must visit.”
Fans were quick to comment on how well she looked, with one saying: “You are looking amazing, hot mama.”
Another added: “Jen, you look phenomenal for a woman who just had a baby. So pleased for you and Greg. You look so happy.”
“Congratulations you both deserve a night out,” added a third.
It certainly seems like the new parents are settling into life with a baby in the house.
Greg recently shared a photo to his Instagram page of sterilising bottles. He captioned the image: “I used to have a life,” alongside a crying with laughter emoji.

While fans rushed to comment that his new life was much better now he has a little one in it, even Jen’s former Hollyoaks colleagues got in on the act.
Matt Littler, who played Max Cunningham on the soap commented: “Maaaaaaate, this is the bit when they NEED you…without you being an absolute superhero they will expire! Enjoy being a superhero!”
And Alfie Browne-Sykes, who was Jason Roscoe on the show until last year, added a series of crying with laughter emojis and the comment: “You’re only a week in….. good luck pal.”
The joys of parenthood, eh?!
Jen gave birth in soaring temperatures that reached 30 degrees in some places – big respect to her.
She delivered her bouncing baby boy on Tuesday 21 June.
A rep for the actress said: “We are delighted to announce that our client Jennifer Metcalfe and partner Greg Lake welcomed a baby boy into the world yesterday.
“Mother and baby are doing fine.”

It’s a time of firsts for the couple – they only moved in together last month.
But Jen is taking it all in her stride. She told Loose Women recently: “I’m so excited, we’re best mates.”
Asked if she was nervous about moving in with former Geordie Shore star Greg, she said: “I think I should be, but after four years, I know he’s got plenty of bad habits.
“He leaves boxers all over the place.
“I don’t feel nervous because I trust our relationship. It’s fantastic, like being with my best friend all the time.”
They certainly look like they have the best time together.
A couple of weeks ago, Jen shared an image of them at the seaside, eating fish and chips.
She also shared pics of her taking a walk along the beach – the mamma-to-be was hoping it might get things moving!
At the weekend Greg shared a sweet message about his new family with fans on Instagram.
He thanked everyone who’d sent well wishes and assured them that he, Jen and their boy were all happy and healthy back home.
