Holly reveals why she’ll NEVER talk about diet and fitness regime

This Morning presenter offers a pretty compelling reason

Holly is standing her ground when it comes to sharing what she eats.

The television presenter says she hates talking about her diet, because she’s terrified of contributing to eating disorders.

The blonde beauty said that she prefers not to focus on her figure because she’s worried people might become ‘fixated’ with what she eats.

Holly told Prima Magazine: “I don’t want to encourage eating disorders. I try not to focus too much on my appearance.

“As long as I’m being healthy, that’s good enough for me. I’m quite active and I try not to let the way I look be the main focus because it’s not the important thing.”

The mother-of-three says she loves good food and now refuses to talk about diets when she’s being interviewed.

The 35-year-old: “I actually avoid talking about my diet and exercise regime because I have interviewed so many people affected by eating disorders and I know that some people in chat rooms can really fixate on other people’s diets. I just can’t contribute to that.”

Do you think Holly has a point?

She did reveal one of her favourite dishes to cook.

“I’m healthy! I love food – it’s a celebration, something to be talked over, shopped for, cooked and enjoyed. I love cooking. Nothing fancy – just standard home-made stuff.

“I make a very good spaghetti.

Holly also admitted to following this mantra, by Muppet Show character, Miss Piggy: Never eat more than you can lift.

That’s a rather good one.

Who knew Miss Piggy could be so wise?
