Holly Willoughby sends sweet message from her sick bed

She won't let illness hold her back

This Morning viewers will know Holly Willoughby was forced to pull out of half her shows this week, after being taken ill.

She missed Wednesday and Thursday’s shows… and when Hol’s not working she normally goes off radar on social media.

But she made an exception, despite being poorly, to post a message for Valentine’s Day.

In snaps taken at this year’s NTAs, Holly, 38, is wearing a pink dress, and laughing with Dan, 44, who is dad to her three children, Harry, Belle, and Chester.

She posted the picture with a simple “❤️”, and the presenter’s fans rushed to comment on the intimate snap.

One wrote: “Happy Valentine’s Day Holly & Dan 🥂🌹🥰🍫.” Another commented: “Lucky lucky man 😱.” A third wrote: “Aww how lovely 💕.” While a fourth said: “Such an adorable looking couple ❤️.”

The pair – who married in August 2007 – are pretty low-key about their relationship.

But in December an old interview with Stella magazine surfaced where Holly described their closeness, saying: “If my career ended tomorrow, I know I would be absolutely OK.

“But if things went wrong between me and Dan it would be the end of my world.”

He told viewers of the ITV show on Thursday: “Hello and welcome to your Thursday’s This Morning.

“Holly is still poorly unfortunately but thankfully, we’ve got Rochelle with us again today.”

It followed his explanation on Wednesday’s episode where the 56-year-old said: “Some of you might have noticed that I’ve got a different co-host for the day.

“Holly’s poorly today. If you’ve been watching throughout the week you’ll know that she’s been on a sort of downward spiral. [It] started on Dancing On Ice, she wasn’t really brilliant on Sunday, and then it’s got worse and worse.”
