Holly Willoughby says she’s gone deaf in one ear after illness

Get her some tissues and warm tea asap!

Holly Willoughby has said a raspy voice and feeling bunged up aren’t the only side effects she’s suffering from her current cold.

The mum of three revealed today she’s gone deaf in one ear after struggling to hear what co-host Phillip Schofield was saying at one stage.

Coming back from an ad break on Wednesday’s episode, she told viewers: “I feel okay. I know I sound really horrible but I can’t hear anything!”

While we’re usually tucked up on the sofa with a blanket and cuppa when we’re under the weather, it seems Holly may be off to the BRIT Awards tonight.

Earlier in the week she posted her invite to an exclusive BRITs after party on Instagram, showing it came with a monogrammed denim jacket and a bottle of vodka.

She added the caption: “Super excited about the @brits now… The countdown begins… #partytildawn.”

Party ’til dawn? Does that mean we’ll be seeing a worse for wear Holly on the sofa tomorrow?!

Well, it wouldn’t be the first time, would it?!

Holly and Phil have become rather famous for their morning after the National Television Awards routine on This Morning which usually involves hangovers and tales of the night before!

This year was actually relatively tame given they managed to change clothes before coming on air!
