Holly Willoughby has revealed she missed This Morning yesterday because she was at an Elton John concert.
Fans of the daytime show were left baffled on Monday when Rochelle Humes filled in for Holly alongside Phillip Schofield.
Mum-of-three Holly was actually enjoying a long weekend in Lucca, Italy, and met up with legendary singer Elton.

She said on Instagram: “What a weekend… huge thank you to @eltonjohn for putting on the most incredible concert in Lucca @luccasummerfestival#LSF19.
“Songs were sung, memories were made and dreams can true when Elton dedicated a song to Dan.”
She also uploaded a snap of herself in the streets of Lucca wearing a khaki jumpsuit.
Holly captioned the post: “Ciao Tuscany… you’ve been bellissima!”
Speaking on Tuesday’s This Morning, Holly told her co-star Phil that she had “the best weekend”.

She said: “I had the best weekend. Dan surprised me with some tickets to watch Elton John in Italy! I was star struck when I met him. He sounded incredible.
“We went to see the concert, and he dedicated a song to Dan and I. It was one of the most magical moments of my life ever! If anyone was filming it and captured that bit, I’d love to have it!”
It comes after Phil revealed on yesterday’s show that Holly was enjoying a long weekend.
He told viewers: “Holly is having a long weekend.”
He didn’t expand on his explanation, and instead introduced stand-in host, Rochelle.

“Rochelle is here. It’s nice to see you,” he said.
However, on Tuesday, Holly returned to the show and viewers were delighted.
One person wrote on Instagram: “Welcome back lovely Holly, glad you had a great time at Elton’s concert yesterday.”
Another said: “Good to see you back,” while a third added: “Finally you’re back!”
