Holly Willoughby is a bona fide British fashion icon these days, with whatever she wears on This Morning usually selling out hours later.
But not everyone was convinced by her look on Monday…
As always, the mum of three uploaded a photo of her daily outfit to Instagram before taking to the air with Phillip Schofield.
She opted for a distinctive black and red striped dress from Warehouse, with three quarter length sleeves and an asymmetrical hem.
Some fans thought she resembled Dennis The Menace!

Not that flattering, really…
One viewer even tweeted: “Did Holly lose a bet and she has to come in dressed as Dennis The Menace?”
Other viewers thought Holly reminded them of another fictional character.

Other comparisons included Cruela de Vil, Where’s Wally? and a sweet wrapper!
Other viewers, however, absolutely loved Holly’s bold look and lavished her with compliments!
Monday’s episode of This Morning placed a heavy focus on Sunday night’s Oscars, with Holly and Phillip Schofield interviewing former Hollyoaks star Rachel Shenton live from LA.

She and fiancé Chris Overton won the prize for Best Live Action Short for their film, The Silent Child, about the struggles faced by a young deaf girl.
There was also a catch-up with I’m A Celebrity winner Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo, who was in LA for the show.
