Nicole Appleton enjoys St. Patrick’s night out with pal Holly Willoughby

Looked like a right knees-up!

For some reason, St. Patrick’s Day has taken over as the UK’s premiere opportunity to party.

Every Saturday night when it falls, it’s impossible to go out into town without bumping into groups of people in green hats, swigging pints of Guinness.

And we all know Holly Willoughby and pals are never shy of an excuse to go on the razz, so when you put those together, you have the ingredients for a heck of a party.

Last night Holly got together with beleaguered Nicole Appleton and third friend Shiarra Bell, and posted a picture on Instagram with a glass of fizz.

She captioned the shot: “My girls” and tagged in Nicole and Shiarra, with a string of heart emojis.

The image was jumped upon by – who else – Bradley Walsh, who cheekily asked: “Are you lot drinking H?”

The night out could have been a welcome distraction for Nicole, who hit the headlines last month after appearing arm-in-arm with Take Me Out host Paddy McGuinness.

Paddy’s wife, Christine, reportedly wasn’t happy with the pictures, and Nicole jumped on a plane for a trip abroad shortly afterwards.

Holly and Nicole have had a long and storied friendship, with Nicole just one of a host of celebs to pay tribute to the This Morning host on her recent birthday.

She uploaded a sweet collage of various meals and nights out they’d enjoyed together, wishing Holly love on her big day.

According to reports, things are back on track with Paddy and Christine, and mum-of-two Nicole is clearly enjoying spending time with her friends.
