There's always time for cuddles

| Updated:

Holly Willoughby might be a busy mum-of-three and the presenter of a morning show watched by millions, but she still has time to squeeze in morning cuddles with her cat.

The telly favourite, 38, took to social media to share a cute video of her fluffy feline demanding some attention.

Posted for her 5.3 million Instagram followers, the clip showed Holly’s pet standing at her feet and peering up at her longingly before stretching out and wrapping its arms around her leg.

Holly captioned the video: “When you just need a morning hug…”

She can be seen reaching down to give the fluffy brown and white feline a stroke as it purrs loudly.

Holly’s fans rushed to the comments.

One said: “Omg this is adorable!”

Someone else wrote: “This is why I want a ragdoll cat!”

Another replied: “Aww so sweet. Ragdolls are the best breed of cats.”

A fourth commented with a heart-eyes emoji: “That purr!”

This Morning viewers will be familiar with Bluebell, as the cute moggy was on the show last year.

The cat was given some expert attention during a segment on pet grooming after Holly admitted to giving the poor thing a questionable haircut herself.

She explained: “Under her chin here she has really maney fur and when she was licking it, it was getting stuck in her teeth, so I thought, right, I can help you with that, Bluebell.”

“I just snipped it but it looked very straight and jagged. I had never heard of taking a cat to be trimmed.”

In 2016, Holly welled up on This Morning as she spoke about the death of her beloved cat Roxy.

Hosting at the time with Ben Shepherd, she explained: “We went to sleep and we left her and when we got up she had passed away in her sleep.

“There had been nothing wrong with her. It was a real shock for everybody. She was a big part of the family, always been there for the kids.”

She went on to admit that the hardest part of the experience was having to tell her children – Harry, nine, Belle, seven, and Chester, four.
