Holly Willoughby is one of millions of mums in the UK celebrating Mother’s Day today and she couldn’t wait to show fans what she has received.
The This Morning presenter, 37, took to social media to post an Instagram picture of the rather amusing message she was handed when she woke up.
Scrawled in pencil on a white piece of paper read the words: “I love you more than I love football.”
Highlighting the point, the word ‘football’ has been written in capitals and a big, fancy bubble has been drawn around it. Amazing.
Clearly delighted, and slightly tickled, Holly told her Instagram fans: “Feeling pretty chuffed with that…Happy Mother’s Day! Xxxx.”
Within just 40 minutes, Holly’s picture had been liked a whopping 48,000 times!
Holly and her husband Dan Baldwin have three children together, daughter Belle, six, and sons Harry, eight, and three-year-old Chester.
Along with gifts from them, the Dancing On Ice host has also paid tribute to her own beloved mum Lynne.
Holly shared a picture of herself and Lynne looking very glam with her Instagram followers, saying: “Here she is… Happy Mother’s Day… the kindest mama of them all… love you…”
Meanwhile, last week, in honour of International Women’s Day, Holly posted a throwback picture of herself, her younger sister Kelly and Lynne.
In the cute shot, Lynne and her daughters appeared to be dressed for a wedding in smart frocks and hats.
Holly had written alongside it: “Happy International Women’s Day to these two power house women in my life… my mother and my sister… love you both!”
The star’s fans were quick to spot the family resemblances, with many commenting on their beautiful looks underneath.
One wrote: “Double of your mum Holly, natural beauty…” Another added: “What a gorgeous pic of your mum and her beautiful babies.”
