Holly Willoughby jokingly accused of being drunk on This Morning

The 36-year-old accidentally dropped an innuendo on the show

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were in hysterics on This Morning after Holly accidentally dropped a cheeky bedroom innuendo while talking to Keith Lemon and Paddy McGuinness.

This led to Take Me Out host Paddy jokingly accusing Holly of being drunk after she asked Keith about “sowing seeds in his bedroom”.

Paddy and Celebrity Juice star Keith were on the show talking about their brand new comedy sketch show Keith and Paddy’s Picture Show.

Asking about the upcoming show Holly started to explain: “You say this sort of seed was grown back when you were doing Comic Relief.”

But unintentionally dropped a cheeky innuendo as she added: “But this actual seed was actually sown in your bedroom.”

Co-host Phil looked baffled by Holly’s comments as Keith asked: “I was doing what with seeds in my bedroom?!

“Yes I was planting seeds in my bedroom when I was a child thinking of Paddy McGuinness.”

Earlier on in the show Holly had drunk a margarita in a food tasting segment.

As Holly threw her hands over her face Paddy added: “It’s the margaritas!

“Stop getting Holly drunk on This Morning.”

Viewers were equally amused by the blunder as one wrote on Twitter: “This seed was sown in your bedroom…… Holly!!!! #ThisMorning.”

“I’m dying at holly #ThisMorning,” added another.

A third tweeted: “Omg who decided to put these all together on a morning show #thismorning @thismorning @lemontwittor @PaddyMcGuiness.”

In fits of laughter Holly said: “Don’t make this something it’s not.

“What I was saying is it’s been a real passion project for you.”

Meanwhile on the show the mum-of-three nearly vomited after co-presenter Phil, 55, ate a cockroach live on air.

Fearless Chef Kiran Jethwam appeared on the show to challenge the hosts to eat the “disgusting” foods on offer.

As Phil happily tucked into the creepy-crawlies Holly squirmed and ran away.

She said: “Oh my god, it’s so disgusting!

“I heard it crunch!”

But it seemed Phil didn’t seem phased by the taste as he said: “You know what it tastes like? Blue cheese.”
