Holly Willoughby enjoys a boozy £400 Christmas lunch with Emma Bunton

Well, it is the season to be jolly!

Getting into the festive spirit Holly Willoughby has enjoyed a boozy lunch reportedly costing a whopping £400 with her Spice Girls pal Emma Bunton.

Clearly making the most of her time away from presenting This Morning, Holly sipped champagne aboard the plush Belmond British Pullman train during the pre-Christmas meet-up.

It’s the second time the girls have been out in as many weeks.

Also there with Holly and Emma were Loose Women star Christine Lampard, PR guru Niki de Metz and Universal Music’s Shiarra Bell.

The Christmas lunch menu starts at £400 a head, while it costs a whopping £8k to hire a whole carriage.

Taking to Instagram, Holly said she had “the best day” with her girls.

While they were on the train the ladies were serenaded by The Spitfire Sisters, as well as a butler who performed Do You Hear The People Sing from Les Misérables.

Holly looked suitably festive for the outing, wearing a silver sparkly skirt with coordinating glittery top and silver shoes.

Mum-of-one Christine opted for all black as she posed for photographs, while Emma wore a pretty nude polka dot dress.

Christine said she’d enjoyed an “afternoon full of festive cheer”, while Emma commented: “A very special Christmassy day!!! I love my friends.”

The trip must have come at a good time for mum-of-three Holly.

She is currently facing rumours of a rift with her This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield.
