Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were walking on thin ice after sharing an old picture of their boss on This Morning!
The telly favourites were discussing the recent viral trend of celebrities posting old headshots online, when they decided to have a bit of fun!
A photo flashed up on screen of a young man sporting a leather jacket, hand in one pocket.
It turned out to be their boss, Martin Frizell!
Trying not to laugh, Phillip, 56, told viewers: “Here is a special one. This will actually get us all in trouble. This is our boss, Martin Frizell, the editor of This Morning. Look at him!”
Holly, 37, chimed in: “Look at him! Super cool!”
She then put one hand to her earpiece and quipped: “We can’t possibly tell you what we’ve just had said in our ear!”
Phillip continued to stare at the photo: “Look at you! With your leather jacket and your trendy shades.”
Holly then joked to viewers: “Well, it’s been really nice knowing you all. We’ll probably have been fired by the end of today’s show!”
Phillip got in on the joke, suggesting they didn’t need to wait until the end of the show for that decision to be made!
He laughed: “Oh, yes, indeed we have!”
“We have?” asked Holly.
Phil replied: “Yes. Should we finish it or go now?”
Holly laughed: “Oh let’s do the rest. We have a lot to do!”
Of course, it was all in banter – and poor Martin wasn’t the only one having his old picture flashed up on screen!
Holly and Phil both shared throwback pictures of themselves, while John Torode, Alison Hammond and Alice Beer also didn’t get off lightly!

It was another busy episode of This Morning as Holly and Phil interviewed TOWIE’s Gemma Collins and James ‘Arg’ Argent about their on-off romance, and chatted with Richard Blackwood about his EastEnders exit.
They also met Britain’s Got Talent father and duo, Tim and Jack Goodacre, got a lesson on how to properly wash clothes, and met the little toddlers who have been inspired by Holly’s wardrobe!
