Fans will know the character Holly arrived at Holby a few weeks ago. The teenager has been suffering medical complications and had to be put on life support after her surgery.

While she is now on life support, her parents believe a hospital in America can help her despite being told the chances of her ever making a recovery are near impossible.

Holly’s mother Ruth went to the media causing an uproar, and while Ange has been trying to make her parents see that Holly will never get better the number of protesters outside the hospital have been growing.

Ex-Corrie villain Christopher Harper has been playing the role of Holly’s father Michael Cartwright.

Last week’s episode of Holby City will air tonight at 8pm. This week’s episode will air tomorrow night also at 8pm on BBC One.
