She helped him put a ring on it! Beyoncé plays Cupid

Singer helped surprise her back-up dancer with a marriage proposal

Hands up if you want a boss like Beyoncé?

The Lemonade singer played Cupid on Saturday and helped surprise her back-up dancer Ashley Everett with a marriage proposal in front of thousands of fans.

The 35-year-old was performing in St Louis, Missouri as part of the US leg of her Formation World Tour when she asked her band to stop the music.

She had been belting out her hit Single Ladies when she invited choreographer John Silver on stage.

That’s when the St Louis native – who has worked with the likes of Chris Brown, J. Lo and Ciara – pulled Ashley to the front of the stage and declared his love for her.

The dancer looked stunned as her boyfriend held her hand and told the crowd of screaming Beyoncé fans that she is his “queen.”

He sang her praises and then got down on one knee and proposed.

The surprise clearly worked because the next day Ashley posted a collage of photos of the moment she got engaged on her Instagram page.

She wrote: “Still wrapping my head around the incredible, magical moment that happened last night!

“It was an absolute dream come true!

“Thank you to everyone who helped make it so epic and iconic, and to everyone who supports us and congratulated us!”

Adding that she loves the “sh*t out of” her new fiancé, she wrote: “Shocked is an understatement.”

Have a look at the cute moment Ashley gets back to work and finishes dancing to Single Ladies and, of course, flashes her new engagement ring.

Beyoncé told her: “Now let’s see you do the choreography after that!”
