Helen Skelton has insisted she isn’t doing Strictly Come Dancing this year despite rumours that she is.
With the BBC show set to return later this year, there were rumours that the Countryfile presenter would be taking part.
Helen, 35, has admitted she would love to be on show but she won’t be a contestant on the upcoming series.
She told the Express: “I would love to [do Strictly Come Dancing], it’s one of those shows which is the best of the best!
“It will be interesting to see who will be on it this year.”
Helen added: “I’m definitely not doing it, I would love to do it but I’m not doing it this year.”
The mum-of-two went on to say she thinks she would be good on the show, though, because she would “listen”.
Back in 2012, the telly fave had a brief cameo in the show’s Christmas special.
Speaking to Hello! magazine last year, Helen said: “I loved doing the Christmas one. I’m sure if it ever came up, I’m sure I would do it.
“It’s the most intense show I have ever been involved with, because they are all at the top of their game – the make-up ladies are the best in the business, the hair people are the best in the business, everybody is just so utterly professional.”
She said at the time she would find it “impossible” to say no to being on the show but it would all depend on timing.
Helen explained: “I think it’s one of those things where you have to really give your whole life over, so it would have to be a timing thing.

“It would be an impossible show to say no to, but I think you have got to have the right time.”
Meanwhile, other celebrities rumoured to be in the line-up this year include The Great British Bake Off”s Liam Charles, sports presenter Chris Kamara, 80s TV star Anneka Rice, TV and radio presenter Maya Jama, Corrie’s Catherine Tyldesley and even Coleen Rooney.
