Helen Skelton's sexy outfits while presenting for the BBC won her an army of admirers, but the 36-year-old has hinted that her revealing attire may have cost her job.
Helen presented at the 2016's Olympics and the 2017 National Swimming Championships for the BBC, and gained attention for her revealing outfits, which ranged from low cut dresses to teaming a white peephole shirt with white shorts.
Speaking to the Mail on Sunday, Helen said that she finds it "hilarious" that people still remember her smouldering looks.
"I just find it so hilarious that after all this time, everyone's still talking about it.
"Now the story's evolved into something else. Like if I don't get a gig on sport it's because of the shorts.
I haven't done anything else since. So…
"I did Rio and then I did the Budapest World Swimming Championships in 2017 and I haven't done anything else since. So…" Helen told the paper.
The former sports presenter responded to the suggestion that she was fired because of her attire with:
"I don't know. Wouldn't that be amazing? They just said to me they've got a responsibility to bring on new talent," she said.
She went on to joke that if she'd wanted a "fair" job she'd have "worked at the council."
But all is not lost, as Skelton may not be presenting BBC sports anymore, but she's still got plenty of work.
In addition to her regular Country File presenting, she has also presented for a season of Digging up Britain's Past and written a book entitled: Wild Girl: How to Have Incredible Outdoor Adventures.
