Helen Skelton announces birth of second child with touching photo

The overjoyed presenter now has a family of four

Helen Skelton has had her second baby!

The former Blue Peter presenter announced the birth with a sweet photo of the whole family holding hands with their newest addition.

Her rugby player hubby Richie Myler first shared the cute snap on his Instagram account on Tuesday afternoon, captioning it: “Blessed 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 #3becomes4”

The 33-year-old new mum then shared the picture, writing underneath it: “Family of four 😍😍😍😍😍”, clearly besotted with her second child.

Swimming champion and former co-presenter Mark Foster wished her congratulations on Twitter shortly after the pic was posted.

Friend and Sun writer Dan Wootton also shared his excitement at the good news.

The couple, who married in 2013 and already have 20-month-old son Ernie together, haven’t revealed any details on the baby’s sex, weight, date of birth or name.

We’re sure they’re savouring every second with their growing family.

They currently live in the South of France while Richie plays rugby for a team over there.

Helen announced her second pregnancy last November with another adorable photo of her son holding a blackboard with: “Ready for my partner in crime, due spring 2017” written on it.

How sweet!

Little Ernie made headlines earlier in the year when Helen tweeted about how he was banned from toddler group for being naughty!

She tweeted: “Worst day of my parenting life. Asked to leave after 20 mins. Screamed the place down screaming his version of: ‘Mama let’s go!’ Constantly.”

Her followers were relieved that she was being real about how difficult motherhood can be.

Previously talking to the Mirror, the TV star said: “If my tweet made one stressed out mum somewhere say, ‘Thank God, it’s not just me’, then that’s amazing,” she added.

“Twitter is reassurance for me. We don’t have family out here. It’s a shame. I’m in my own little world.”

Congrats to Helen and her newborn!
