Michelle Keegan spotted without wedding ring amid rumours

Ringing the changes?

Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright’s relationship has had a turbulent year.

It’s been hit by constant rumours that their love is on the rocks, which hasn’t been helped with Michelle being in South Africa and Malaysia filming Our Girl for much of it.

The hit BBC show, in which she plays Corporal Georgie Lane, is filmed abroad, which has meant her spending a lot of time away from her hubby.

Added to this, Mark’s been spending time in LA as his US career takes off, so at times they’ve literally been a world away from one another.

And Michelle set the rumour mill running again today when she was spotted touching down in the UK for Christmas.

However, eagle-eyed observers will notice something slightly unusual about the photos – Michelle is not wearing her giant engagement or wedding rings!

Although she appeared full of smiles and seemed to be in high spirits, there was no sign of the ring she received after marrying Mark in May 2015.

After being pictured on a night out without her rings once before, Michelle took to Twitter to set the record straight, saying she always removed them when filming.

She said in 2016: “No wedding ring, no wedding ring blah blah blah sooooo boring!!! Not that I have to explain but I’m SO sick of these stories…

“I work on camera so I take it off and put it somewhere safe… SIMPLE. Last night I went straight out after work… Hence the NO ring!!!”

However, both Michelle and Mark have been posting loving updates to social media recently.

Full of support for each other’s careers, they both talk about how they’re looking forward to spending the holiday season together.

Mark wrote on Twitter: “Done. 8 months away from home, away from loved ones, working ridiculous hours in ridiculous conditions @michkeegan you amaze me more & more every day.

“I’m so proud of you, words can’t even explain. It’s going to be the best Christmas ever !! I love you so much my little trooper.”
