Harry Redknapp reunites with his I’m A Celebrity co-stars at beach polo

King Of The Jungle caught up with Nick Knowles and Rita Simons

Harry Redknapp has reunited with his I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! co-stars during a day out at the beach polo.

Harry, who was crowned King Of The Jungle last year, caught up with his pals Rita Simons and Nick Knowles at the event in Dorset.

The former football manager, who only lives down the road, was delighted to see the pair and couldn’t wait to pose for a photo with them.

Sharing the snap on Instagram, 72-year-old Harry said: “From the jungle to the Sandbanks polo. Great to see these two.”

Harry, Nick and Rita had initially been watching the Sandbanks Beach Polo Championships from the sidelines, before they were given a chance to jump on a horse and have a go themselves.

And in honour of his jam roly poly-loving friend, Nick also donned a polo shirt featuring a picture of Harry’s favourite dessert and the words ‘ROLY POLO’.

Things didn’t stop on the beach either – as Harry and his wife Sandra also enjoyed a night out with Nick during the DIY SOS star’s visit to their hometown of Poole.

The trio visited Rick Stein’s seafood restaurant, which is just a short stroll from the couple’s Sandbanks mansion.

Sharing a second picture, Harry said: “A lovely evening with @nickknowles.”

Harry was a huge hit with I’m A Celebrity viewers last year and it was little surprise when he was eventually crowned the winner of the 2018 series.

Former EastEnders star Rita was the fourth celebrity to be voted out of the ITV1 reality show, while Nick was the sixth.

Meanwhile, earlier this week it was reported that 70-year-old Status Quo star Francis Rossi is being lined up for the 2019 series of I’m A Celebrity.

A show source told the Daily Mirror “Francis would be the perfect successor to Harry.

“They are both Londoners with the gift of the gab and a wealth of brilliant anecdotes to tell.”
