Game of Thrones star Josephine Gillan revealed her baby daughter was taken away by Israeli social services.
The actress, who played prostitute Marei in the epic HBO fantasy series, said social workers came for her eight-month-old in the middle of the night.
She alleges that a pal was looking after the tot while she was having therapy for postnatal depression, which social services told her to undergo, when the child was whisked away.
Josephine uploaded a distressing clip to Twitter that shows her daughter Gloria being taken away by a woman and two uniformed men.
In the video, the individual filming it all can be heard arguing with the social services employees, before they enter a waiting vehicle and drive off.
Tweeting about the incident, Josephine said it left her heartbroken.
She wrote, alongside the clip: "The disturbing moment that the #Israeli #socialservices kidnapped my baby! At 12:30pm at night on Sunday! My friend pleaded! But was threatened [with] jail if she did not hand over my baby! Me and [my] loving friend and her family! We are all heartbroken!"
My friend pleaded! But was threatened with jail.
She continued: "Nothing but sick twisted #socialworkers #socialservices trying to ruin lives and separate a baby from its mother that hasn't done anything wrong! They kidnapped my baby!!!"
Since posting the clip, Josephine has launched a campaign on GoFundMe to raise cash towards bringing the tot back.
She wrote on the page that she was not currently working as Game of Thrones has finished and she is "busy with motherhood".
The page read: "Three nights ago the social services came in the night at 12:30am! With the police and kidnapped my daughter and took her to another family! I'm not allowed to see her or have contact! I have no idea where she is!! I was not there at the time and was not aware of what they had done!"
Gillan went on to insist she had "not done anything wrong" and neither had the friend who was looking after the baby.
