The Celebs Go Dating official Twitter account confirmed Amy’s appearance on the new series by saying: “Our new client to the agency is Amy Tapper. Welcome Amy, we can’t wait for you to do some GOOGLING at the next mixer!!!”

Amy replied: “I can’t wait to join the dating agency and hopefully find someone that’s right for me!”

The fifth series of Celebs Go Dating returns to E4 later this year.

Stars taking part include Love Island’s Eyal Booker and Olivia Attwood, TOWIE stars Chloe Sims and Vas J Morgan, and Made In Chelsea’s Alik Alfus.

Sugababes singer Mutya Buena has also signed up, alongside Diversity’s Sam Craske.

Meanwhile, Amy wasn’t the only new client announced this week: the show also confirmed Ibiza Weekender’s Callum Izzard will search for love, too.

Celebs Go Dating sees stars getting advice from Lady Nadia Essex at her dating agency and, of course, Tom the receptionist!

Nadia will be joined this series by “love doctor” Paul Carrick Brunson, who replaces Eden Blackman.

Eden announced in March he was stepping down from his Celebs Go Dating role in order to focus on other business commitments.

He said: “I’m immensely proud of the show’s success but after four great series, it’s now time for me to fully commit to my other projects – 2018 will see me relaunch my dating app ‘Would Like To Meet’ and also marks the 18th year of my music PR agency, which remain my biggest passions and takes up a great deal of my time.

“On top of this, I’m also in the process of developing a further new business that is yet to be announced… so it’s a really exciting time.”

“I’m thankful to everyone at Lime Pictures and C4 for the opportunity. I’ve had a great time and following its best rated series to date, wish them nothing but more success for the show moving forwards.

“Thanks for all your support.”

Celebrities on Celebs Go Dating are sent on dates with members of the public in the hopes of love blossoming, although there’s always the chance of romance developing between the celebrities too, as we previously saw with Joey Essex and Stephanie Pratt.
