Piers Morgan STORMS off Good Morning Britain after losing a debate

For once, the host wasn't in control and he hated it!

Piers Morgan is not usually one to be beaten but he lost it during a heated debate.

The political discussion got so out of hand that the Good Morning Britain presenter actually walked off set.

Something was amiss early on in the slot, because Piers was barely getting a word in.

Co-host Susanna Reid picked up on this, saying: “I’ve never heard you be so quiet, frankly.”

The discussion saw Iain Duncan Smith and Labour MP Peter Kyle arguing passionately between themselves.

Unable to get a word in edge ways, Piers decided to throw his toys out the pram, declaring: “Do you know what? We’re just gonna…”, – and then he strolled off.

“We’re going to have to leave it there,” said a flustered Susanna while Iain and Peter were still at loggerheads.

Pier, 51, then decided to make a return to the set, and said: “Gentlemen, one thing is crystal clear, there’s a calming unity between our parliamentary peers.”

Riiiiiight…

He later took to Twitter to respond to a viewer, who slated the shambolic TV strand.

“They were out of control. I loved it,” the former tabloid editor said.

This drama came a day after Piers dramatically changed his opinion about feeling it’s okay for bosses to order women to wear high heels to work.

He had argued that it was no different to men being expected to wear suit ties but, after putting on a pair of silver kitten heels, he completely changed his tune.

The Life Stories host has now jetted off to Miami for a fortnight – giving his Good Morning Britain colleagues a well-earned break!
