Danniella Westbrook has revealed she is in the best place she has ever been.
The former EastEnders actress is currently at the Villa Paradiso facility in Mijas, Spain. She checked herself in after battling her addiction to cocaine following a serious relapse.
On Sunday, the 43-year-old told her 14.6k Instagram followers that she’s “doing so well” and is tackling all of her “issues”.
She posted a message saying: “Sunday nights in Spain in treatment x happy doing great therapy is going great x yoga done and massage was amazing today x and I’m doing so well sorting all my issues, I’m truly in the best place personally I’ve been in in years x thanks to VP rehab [sic]”.
Adding to her post, she posted some inspirational hashtags and said she was “clean”.
“#gratitude#sundayvibes #thewestbrook #thisislife#loveya #thisgirlcan #clean”, she added.
Earlier in the day, she gave her fans a glimpse of what it’s like in her room in rehab. She shared a pic of her bedside table, which had tea lights, pebbles, a rosary and happiness journal on top of it.
Danniella has been in the facility since early April, and went in to deal with the aftermath of her miscarriage with ex toyboy George Arnold. She also suffered a lot of damage to her face from botched dental surgery.
Now a single lady, she says she wants to focus on herself and her family. She is mother to Kai, 20, and Jody, 16, from previous relationships.
“I’m happy to be alone and on my own,” she told The Sun.
“I’m happy to be doing this but looking forward to seeing my kids in a few weeks and looking forward to getting back to work and all the exciting things I’ve got coming up.
“I’m in a wonderful place and I’m truly blessed again but thank you one and all for everything.”
The mother-of-two also admitted that she would love to return to EastEnders now that Dean Gaffney is back in Albert Square. But she said she would want her pal Patsy Palmer there too!
“Isn’t it about time we had Ricky, Bianca and Sam and Gaffney [Robbie] in the place?” she joshed.
“Things need a bit of a shake up there I feel.”
